Koyo Seiko was founded in 1921 by Zenichiro Ikeda. In the decades that followed, it has become one of the world's leading manufacturers of bearings and automotive steering systems.
With the merger of Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd. and Toyoda Machine Works, Ltd. on January 1, 2006, JTEKT was founded. Nowadays with a Head Office in Kariya, Japan, JTEKT has global operations in Europe, Asia, U.S., and Latin America.
